Western University – Be Extraordinary Campaign

In November of 2012 our Vice-President (External) at Western wanted to develop a national advertising campaign that would enhance our reputation, tell compelling short stories of our amazing alumni and create awareness of our $750 million fundraising campaign. I developed a concept that used large photos of some of our most prominent alumni with short copy and a compelling headline that created a common thread through all the ads – their extraordinary success started at Western.

The campaign has been running as 2/3 page print ads in the Globe and Mail as well as leaderboard and big box online ads on the Globe Online website.

The response from our alumni and broader community members has been very positive. The campaign has grown to include more than twenty alumni.
